PM Modi arrived in Brazil on Monday and was welcomed openheartedly by the Indian community in Rio de Janeiro.
According to the report, the diaspora greeted him with paintings, flags, and souvenirs, demonstrating their strong attachment to their nation.
Sharing his regards, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X, saying, "Deeply touched by the warm and lively welcome from the Indian community upon arriving in Rio de Janeiro. Their energy reflects the affection that binds us across continents." Along with his message, he shared pictures capturing the vibrant reception.
Apart from PM Modi, the Chinese President and his US counterpart will also attend the G20 Summit from November 18 to 19.
“During the summit, the Prime Minister will put forward India’s positions on various issues of global importance and build on the outcomes from the G20 New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration and Voice of the Global South Summits, which were hosted by India in the past two years,” the MEA statement added.
